Brookfield

New Fairfield is one of the five towns that surround Candlewood Lake. Candlewood dominates the eastern side of the town and extends both north and south beyond the town borders. Squantz Pond, Ball Pond and Margerie Reservoir are also in New Fairfield. New Fairfield is right off I-84 and is 50 miles from New York City.
New Milford
New Milford is in Southern Litchfield County – 14 miles north of Danbury, on the western border of Connecticut in the beautiful Housatonic Valley. To the west is Candlewood Lake. It is the largest town in the state in terms of land area at nearly 62 square miles. The population is approximately 28,000. New Milford is a few miles north of I-84 and is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Manhattan.
